AVO inversion

AVO inversion is a seismic processing technique that converts variations in seismic reflection amplitude with an offset into detailed subsurface models of rock properties, such as P-wave impedance, S-wave impedance, and density. This method provides a more accurate understanding of lithology and fluid content, helping to identify and characterize potential hydrocarbon reservoirs. AVO inversion is crucial for reducing exploration risk and improving the accuracy of reservoir characterization.
